Supercluster SPARC is based upon an architecture used in the TPC-C, in which Oracle has reached a new record result. It is composed of servers, SPARC, technology FlashFire, QDR InfiniBand Switch, operating system, Solaris, Oracle and ZFS storage device.
Oracle SPARC appears Supercluster in sales in the next calendar year. It will be available in either server-based T3-2, T3-4 and M5000.
In particular, the composition of all three configurations Supercluster solutions include SPARC SPARC servers T3 or M5000, Sun ZFS Storage Server 7420, and switches, Sun ZFS InfiniBand Network Gateway.
